The human body gets its energy primarily from carbohydrates! It also feed the trillions of (Bacteria) that live in your digestive tract… The group of these microorganisms is called the gut microbiome. These are important for your Immune System, Digestion & Absorbing Nutrients.

The Human Body cannot fully digest all Carbohydrates, especially fibre… They go to the colon, where good Bacteria break them down… The Short-chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs) such as Butyrate, Acetate & Propionate are formed during this Process.
